San Sebastian Cathedral : One of the Oldest Churches in Negros

San Sebastian Cathedral is one of the oldest church in Negros it was first build  by Spaniards on January 1880 as a distribution of Christianity religion in far east.

The church was first founded by Spaniards for Religion and also as their fortress against to their enemies who tried to stop the Christianity in Bacolod before.

Inside of San Sebastian Cathedral
 The church was honored/ named by a Saint and Martyr for his faith  San Sebastian and because of his faith he was executed and he die. The church was made of Coral stones and cement (in Renovation) but first it was made of wood and Galvanized iron in 1825.

until today this century-old church called as one of the oldest church in Negros, and it was beside of La Consolacion College (LCC-Bacolod on of the famous school in Bacolod) and it is also near at SM Mall.

How to get there?
If you are from Manila, take an airplane for 2500 (Round trip from Manila to Silay Airport) for 45 mins and you can take a shuttle service for 75-100 per head or a taxi for 400 and asked the driver that you want to drop off to your destination.
